We’re in the process of remodeling our kitchen and bathroom so spending lots of money on home decor is not in the cards for us right now. But it’s spring and I just want to freshen up some of the rooms in the house we aren’t doing any major work in and was amazed at what I came across for less than $100 at Urban Outfitters. In fact, most of what I bought was less than $30.
I remember shopping in the apartment section of Urban Outfitters in college and always found some great tapestries, candle holders, and other dorm-friendly purchases, but nothing that would have matured with my changing tastes over time. However, they have really stepped up their design game in recent years and now have lots of on-trend mirrors, wall hangings, rugs, and other home decor items at reasonable prices compared to what you may find for trendy pieces at more uspcale interior design stores. I guarantee you will be able to replicate a lot of the Pinterest looks you’ve saved without having to do too much leg work.
Here are nine of the pieces I recently purchased, including a wall hanging! I have been wanting one and even planned to make one on my own but then this beauty popped right up while I was shopping. Now I just need to clean up some of the dust that appears to be covering every surface of our house and get these new purchases styled and ready to go. I’ll post some updates so you can see how we are using the pieces. If anyone else scores something great from Urban Outfitters, I’d love to see it in action.
